In an effort to obey God’s command to “Love the Lord your God, with all your heart, mind, spirit and strength and to love our neighbors as we love ourselves,” the founders of Hyaets are eager to minister to, with, and among people in our community. We are passionate about serving the community in which we live, specifically the inner-city community of Charlotte, NC. We strive to form relationships and partnerships with the people in our community, learning with our neighbors how to best serve God and others.
Share Day
In the spirit of Jubilee, every Spring Hyaets hosts Share day. Share Day has its name for a reason, it is simply a day of sharing. Neighbors and Hyaets supporters are invited to come and share resources, belongings, expertise, time, stories, talent, etc with one another. Imagine a yard sale with entertainment and activities and no price tags and you’ve got a picture of what Share day is like.
We invite you to join us as we share. Come and set up an educational table about a subject about which you are passionate. Bring your musical instrument and share your talent, gather the extra things you own and share them with others, and if you see something you need you are welcome take it home with you.
