Little Tree
Hyaets future dream involves a place for retreats - a retreat center where neighbors can learn skills, participate in discipleship with one another, and learn more about a community way of life. The Little Tree Retreat Center will be a place of learning, Sabbath keeping, recreation, and relaxation. An idyllic setting for Little Tree would be several hundred acres in the mountain of North Carolina close enough to urban Charlotte, but distant enough to be a true place of retreat. Though Little Tree does not yet exist in place, Hyaets does work towards this dream through creating retreat experiences for neighbors and church congregations.
Retreats
Until Hyaets finds or builds a retreat center, we do our best to offer retreats for our neighbors as well as for supporters of Hyaets. In the past, we have offered a Sabbath Retreat, Hyaets Partners’ Re-Communion Retreats, Youth Beach Retreats, and Youth Fall Retreats. Through our newsletter and announcements, we also share information about the retreats offered by other organizations, such as the Advent Spirituality Center and Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of North Carolina.
